I really would advice you to at least try it out - it's just beautiful how big your city can be now. I got myself a mod that makes me able to buy all 25 tiles (AFTER I reached the last milestone, so not OP in my eyes) and one additional mod that still let's me unlock achievements (Most achievements aren't build around city size, so again, no cheating in my eyes). So in that case, I don't consider it cheating, as I don't give myself unlimited money or anything, just the option to buy new tiles, which the dev didn't want me to due to performance reasons.Īlso I fully agree with you, you are excited to build a huge city, already have plans for every point on the map - and suddenly you realise that you can't buy more tiles because 9 is the maximum. It was forced on the players due to performance reasons. You don't get goth, the game's currency, during training matches, even though they still give you experience points. You only earn it through story events, story battles, and side quests. Money is often tight in Tactics Ogre: Reborn. It was not forced on the players so that they have the challenge of building the biggest city possible on a maxmimum of 9 tiles. Money is hard to come by in Tactics Ogre: Reborn, but there is an easy way to get rich quickly and easily farm goth.
I also play Mods veeeery seldomly (many mods tend to be 'OP' and not as balanced as the main game), but for Cities:Skylines I made an exception.īecause the Tile limit has no gameplay reasons.
